REenergise
A spotlight on Australian corporations' climate impact.

The project
Greenpeace Australia Pacific launched a campaign to compel Australian corporations to commit to 100% renewable energy. A website was developed featuring a ranking system, giving a snapshot of each corporation's current commitment to renewables and encouraging users to take action calling them out.

The tech
The Greenpeace team has experience running Wordpress websites, so we opted to develop REenergise in Wordpress to minimise the tech-load for the team.
- Frontend: HTML / CSS / JS
- Backend: Wordpress / PHP

The fun
The core feature of the website was the ranking system. Each corporation was scored on three key metrics - commiting to 100% renewable energy by 2030, adopting a power purchase agreement, and maintaining on-site solar. In addition to putting a spotlight on corporations that are not meeting these metrics, it also had the effect of highlighting those organisations that are leading the way.
